Camp Keep Cool!
Summer Day Camp

"Camp Keep Cool"
is a week long day camp with activities on and off the ice.  The focus of "Camp Keep Cool" is on FUN and learning how to skate. Each day will be an active day full of FUN ! Our skilled staff is equipped to help first time skaters, beginners or more experienced skaters. Instructors will teach both hockey and figure skating skills.

Camp hours for Summer 2010 will be extended to allow more availability for working parents.
We will offer 8 weeks of summer camp this summer, another extension of our camp program.

Full Day campers attend from  8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Half Day campers attend from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Regular drop will be from 7:45 - 8:00 am
, each weekday.

We will host camp for two weeks in June, three weeks July and three weeks in August 2010.
Pick the week that works for you, mix and match or come for all eight weeks. 

Early Drop-off is available starting at 7:15 am and Late Stay pickup is available until 6:00 pm for an additional charge (paid by the week or paid by the day).
Early Drop off is $10.00 per day or $50.00 per week.
Late Stay pick up is $10.00 per day or $50.00 per week.
Parents who need both early drop off & late stay for the whole week will pay $60.00 per camper/per week.

Kids can look forward to fun with friends, arts and crafts, make and eat snacks, out door play time and of course lots of ice skating time!
Each morning children will participate in a skating lesson to learn skating skills on with figure or hockey skates.

Every week has a theme - Full day campers experience a special event that comes to the rink one day of each week for extra FUN!

Weekly themes will include: animals, magic, circus, science, wet & wacky, and an end of summer ICE BLAST!

Plans for Summer of 2010 are:

June 21-25, 2010     Mad Science Week - Mad Scientist Show & Green Coast Recycling with "DRIP".
                              "Mad Scientist" Show - June 25 - 4:00 - 5:00 pm - During our afternoon Public Skate (2:45-5:30 pm)
                               Admission to the Public Skate allows you to see the show ! Everyone is welcome !

No Camps the first 2 weeks of July 2010
July 12-16, 2010     Rock n Roll Week - Friday, July 16th 106.7 Live Broadcast on the afternoon Public Skate session.

July 19-23, 2010     Carnival Week - Clown Show, Cotton Candy machine, July 20th 4:00pm Mad Science Show !
July 26-30, 2010     Wet n Wacky Water Week - Lots of Water Games - Non Water Bouncin' Machine, July 27th Mad Science Show !

August 2-6, 2010    This week has been cancelled as of July 12,2010 - due to low enrollment.
August 9-13, 2010   Ice House Olympics Week - Bouncin' Party Machine.

August 16-20, 2010 This week has been cancelled as of July 6, 2010, due to low enrollment.

On-Ice Instruction:
A daily (morning)  group ice skating lesson will be taught by a skilled skate school instructor.
Instruction will cover all levels of beginning and lower levels of basic skills,  figure skating, & hockey skating.
Students will be divided into groups based on their skating skills and interests.

Lunch is not included in the price for camp but can be purchased for an additional cost per week ($30.00).
